Shareholders meeting of Toyota Motor
On June 15, there was a shareholders meeting of Toyota Motor. According to
the report "attendance were 3860, 856 increased compared with last year.
Running time was 1 hour and 46 minutes, 24 minutes shorter." Moreover, one
of ATU-S member Mr. B also attended for the first time, and according to his
report, "It was a very insipid shareholders meeting."
Although Mr. B prepared 2 questions and there was enough time to discuss
about those, he was not nominated, and question time was terminated
unilaterally.
His question was about request for "early happy compromise of overseas labor
disputes" particularly in supporting TMPCWA, and about " CSR (corporate
social responsibility)" which request to abolish fatigue death,
workmen's-accident, occupational disease, and burden to subcontractors.
Furthermore, according to him, other stockholders' questions were
monotonous, and were not important to the basis of management.
Mr. B told us that he thought it was "the fixed race plotted skillfully."
(3) Shareholders meeting of Toyota Motor
The 108th regular shareholders meeting was held in the main building hall of
Toyota Motor head office on 15th. (Refer to top sentence)
(2) Follow up of Aisin Kiko (AKK) Mr.Yoshida’s trial
Mr. Yoshida's 5th workmen's-accident authorization trial was hold in the
Nagoya District Court, and many supporters rushed for hearing on 12th.
In the last trial, "example concerning workmen's-accident authorization" and
"the family doctor's written opinion" were submitted from Mr. Yoshida, the
plaintiff side.
Unexpectedly, "counterargument document" was not submitted from the company,
the defendant side. So, they promised to submit the document until next
time, and the trial was closed.
The focus of the trial is to clarify causal relationship between the
accident and his work, and medical proof is also important. Next trial
schedule is from 11:00 a.m. on August 21.
