meeting of Toyota Motor. According to the report "attendance were 3860, 856
increased compared with last year. Running time was 1 hour and 46 minutes, 24
minutes shorter." Moreover, one of ATU-S member Mr. B also attended for the
first time, and according to his report, "It was a very insipid shareholders
meeting."<BR>Although Mr. B prepared 2 questions and there was enough time to
discuss about those, he was not nominated, and question time was terminated
unilaterally.<BR>His question was about request for "early happy compromise of
overseas labor disputes" particularly in supporting TMPCWA, and about " CSR
(corporate social responsibility)" which request to abolish fatigue death,
workmen's-accident, occupational disease, and burden to subcontractors.
Furthermore, according to him, other stockholders' questions were monotonous,
and were not important to the basis of management. <BR>Mr. B told us that he
thought it was "the fixed race plotted skillfully."</FONT></DIV>
