Chairperson, General Secretary and Dear Colleagues in KMU
 
We are shocked by the sad news of pass away of Com. Crispin Beltran 'Ka
Bel'. He was the real working class hero of Philippino labour movement.
His incomparable contribution as the leader of the trade union movement,
as a parliamentarian, as a freedom fighter, and as a unionist devoted to
international working class solidarity will always remain in the
memories of millions. On behalf of Nepali working class and trade union
movement and General Federation of Nepalese Trade unions, we extend our
heart-felt tribute and express our deep condolence to the family, to
KMU, to Party and entire working class peoples of the Philippines.
The demise of Com Ka Bel is a loss which can not be compensated. His
legacy of continuous and dedicated fighting for working masses and
oppressed/marginalised segments of the society is highly significant
stimulating others to go ahead for the cause.
