[APWSLMembers 350] Protest action in front of the Japanese Embassy

We successfully launch our picket action in front of the Japanese
Embassy.
We started at around 9:00 a.m. and finish at 12:00 p.m. The picket
actions
was attended by members of TMPCWA from both inside and outside workers
and
the families of the illegally dismissed members of TMPCWA.

The CAR-AID alliance sent delegates to support the action of TMPCWA
(Nissan
Workers union, Keihin workers union, Honda workers union and other
workers
in Southern Tagalong Region. The MWAP also sent delegates and solidarity
message that reads by the spoke person during the program.

The Embassy Officials from Labor Attache of the Embassy and the Economic
Affairs meet us (Two Leaders of TMPCWA, Representative of CAR-AID, MWAP
and
two representatives from the Support Group of TMPCWA from Japan) for one
almost one hour inside the Embassy and promised us that they will
discuss it
together with the Tokyo Foreign Ministry Officials. We ask them of any
result that they must give to TMPCWA after the Tokyo discussion.

We thank all the workers of the world who support the campaign of the
IMF to
stage protest in front of the Japanese Embassy to support the
reinstatement
of illegally dismissed members of TMPCWA.
