Dear Parat
Thank you very much for the kind concern and warm & strong solidarity
from APWSL and the entire network. Political situation has worsened more
in Nepal. On the eve of the grand demonstration being organized on
January 20, 2006, the autocratic government has declared ban on all
sorts of protests and demonstrations. The regime has started to arrest
leaders from political parties, mass organizatioins and trade unions as
well as human right activists. Today early in the morning, GEFONT
Chairperson Mukunda Neupane and GEFONT Secretary General Binod Shrestha
have been arrested from their residence. Today we have organized Press
Conference and just few hours before Press conference, trade union
leaders are being arrested. We are in hide-outs to organize our
struggle. According to the information, 44 party leaders from the
Alliance of Mainstream politicla parties have already been arrested this
morning.
 
I will relay other information again whenever possible.

Greetings  i would like to inform you that, Thai APWSL and 6 -7
organizations  have plan to protes again about Napel issue, so we have
plan
to protest on 1 Feb 06 at Napel Embassy in Bangkok. i don't know  what
about  APWSL the another countries? should do again for Napel member ? I
have known untill now the situation  not solution that why we need to
protest again turn aroun 1 year already,
