<BR>Support activities by workers and labor unions continue since the earthquake
on March 11. On March 15, vehicles which carries rescue supply to the stricken
inland area Sakae village of Nagano Prefecture from Nagoya on May 15. <BR>And
the accident of nuclear plant has not ended yet. Health problem is also pointed
out about the workers who work in that area getting high radiation, and its
situation is extremely serious. We are also paying attention. <BR>On May
6, Prime Minister Kan requested entire stop of the Hamaoka nuclear plant
(Shizuoka Prefecture next to Aichi Prefecture), and the nuclear power plant
stopped on 14th. The voice to request the abolition of the nuclear power plant
become higher day by day.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Century size=3></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Century size=3><STRONG>4) Cooperation activity by union in this
region <BR></STRONG>There was union cooperation activity in this region on April
26th. <BR>In the morning of this day, they protested against Shiragane Plating
Co., Ltd in Moriyama Ward of Nagoya city, to request withdrawal of unfair
dismissal of a Philipino female. Aichi unity union is taking charge of this
matter. In the afternoon, they protested to Sawada Industry Co., Ltd. in Toyoda
city to request $B!H(B compensation for Japanese Peruvian workers$B!G(B accidents$B!I(B. Nagoya
Fureai union is taking charge of this matter. In the evening, there was a
regular joint propaganda in front of Nagoya station and Midland Square, as the
final event of the whole day activity.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Century size=3><STRONG>3) Collective bargaining with Aisin Kiko
Co.,Ltd.(AKK)<BR></STRONG>ATU did the 9th collective negotiation with AKK on
24th. The agenda was problem of union member Mr.Yoshida$B!G(Bs reinstatement. As
reported already, AKK noticed him termination of suspension period at the end of
June, so they discussed concretely, if there are really no other work place for
Mr.Yoshida or not. The second agenda was a negotiation in spring including the
pay improvement.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Century size=3><STRONG>2) Trial for Mr. Tanaka of
JTEKT<BR></STRONG>The witness examination of 3 people related to medical affairs
was done at the trial for Mr.Tanaka of JTEKT Corporation on 21st. The physician
in charge testified that his condition is getting improved , and it is possible
for him to be reinstated, but the industrial physician and the public health
nurse described that they were told by the physician in charge, "The
reinstatement is difficult.$B!I(B by the phone.<BR>The physician in charge answered,
"I did not made any telephone conversation with them.$B!I(B<BR>The both sides will
face the next (June 2) reconciliation talks following the presiding judge's
proposal.</FONT></DIV>

JTEKT<BR></STRONG>On 7th, there was a witness examination for Mr. Tanaka
himself.. He calmly responded without being disarranged by the defendant
deputy's inducement. The fact that he was dismissed without working advice by
the industrial physician, and only by the personnel$B!G(Bs
judgement.<BR></FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML></FONT></FONT>
