<br>I hope you are still healthy upon reading my letter although you are busy preparing for our exchange program.

<br>In Korea we are very busy too, since July 1 till today we are always struggling against the irregular workers law which took effect last July 1, we are always on the street, demonstrating to repeal this inhuman law. Our analysis was true that this law would only benefit the capitalist to the expense of the working class. As of now the irregular workers in E land Factory, the New Core, and the Home ever were dismissed because they already worked for 2 years, instead becoming regular workers as the law said, that is why we are struggling so hard so that we can win this issues. If we win this issue it is a big favor for the workers, but if this case will lost their will be a model for other capitalist to exploit more the workers.

<br>As of 9:00 pm our Comrade Lee Sang Mu the president of the KCTU Kyeonggid Branch and Kim Wan Soo, the Director of the Organizing department of the KCTU Kyeonggi Branch were arrested because of their conviction against the irregular workers law and the US-Korea FTA. Unfortunately, Comrade Lee Sang Mu is one of the delegates of the Korean APWSL on July 20-25.

<br>As per our negotiations there are 15 persons who are willing to come in Japan for these APWSL Japan Korea exchange program, but due to this problem such us the problem of hankuk hapsam in Kumi, the unfinish CBA of the Seoul Insurance union and metal union also the recent arrest of the Kyeonggi leadership our delegates will be six persons only. However, we will still continue this program because it was already set.
