<br>Dear Comrades

<br>

Greetings to you from the Osan Migrant Centre.

<br>

<br>I am sure that you all have reached your respective places safe. 

As we are settling down in our routines, I would like to express my deep felt thanks and appreciations for your participation and valuable contributions you have made for the Regional coordinators Conference. I am aware that we all had a hectic schedule during the conference, yet we tried to make the maximum use of our precious time to as many experiences as possible and as much interactions as possible between us. I am sure that we have now closer relationship and better understanding of our team work and mutual solidarity.

<br>

I tried my best to make the conference meaningful and keep you in best possible comforts. Yet I am aware that there were many hurdles and difficult travels and limitations. I appreciate your forbearance of all these difficulties.

<br>

<br>However we all are committed now in a special way for the life and work of 

APWSL and to provide strong solidarity across our regional centres.

<br>

As we had initiated our joint efforts for the cause of Nepal Democratic crisis, Political killings in Philippines, issues of migrant workers and irregular workers and other related labor unrest in Asia in last years meeting at Melbourne, this conference gave a shape to our solidarity activities. We are glad that situation is better in Nepal. During this conference we have explored many of our strategies to address the Asian issues of neo-liberalism, communication for internationalism, media and press freedom and so on. We have also experienced in our conference the US military strategies against the peace of the continent.

In a special way the grass root organizations and unions in Kyonggi Province have been privileged and felt very happy about our meeting them and expression of our solidarity.

<br>

I am extremely happy about our decision with regard to labor exchange between Korea and Japan.

<br>

The general assembly of APWSL was held in Kuala Lumpur in May 2005 and the meeting of officers was held in Malbourne in November 2005. But we didn't make a regional coordinator meeting in May 2006 in Thailand. And that's why we decide to hold a regional meeting in Korea in November 2006.

<br>

<br> During the Mumbai conference of 2004 we have decided about building up the labor asia website. we are glad that the website is finished last year with good working systems. yet our concern is that not many people are using this web. Therefore in our conference we have reiterated that each country should have a web master and make the website more utilitarian. When the webmasters set up well in each country, they control each country's website. On the basis of these works we will make a plan of the 4th international Labor Media Conference which will be held in Korea.

We also have to support Parat to put our activities and financial report together till December 2006. We will make a plan of a meeting of officers about discussing Parat's report in January and February in 2007 in Thailand. Next, we have a plan to hold a regional meeting in 2007 and make a general assembly in May 2008.

<br>

With all these concerns discussed in our conference I am sure that the APWSL will have a vibrant activity from now onwards. I appreciate the concerns of all members specially the Coordinator Parat Nanacorn who deserves all our support.

<br>

I also would like to recognize with gratitude the cooperation and hospitality extended by all the local organizations and labor leaders for the success of our conference.
