<br>As coordinator of the APWSL, I take this wonderful privilege to heartily congratulate Gwynnyth Evans for becoming the co- Convener of APWSL. As I learn the expertise of Gwynnyth Evans, I am fully confident that the APWSL will really be able to take a new lead for the labor world of Asia Pacific region. I am extremely happy to know more closely about the AAWL and its impact on the labor movement of Australia. It is indeed a providential move that the convener comes from such a rich background of experience.

<br>I join with you to thank the Tie Asia for all that was done for the APWSL meeting in Kaulaumpore.
<br>
<br>Thank you very much for your congratulations expressed to Parat Nanakorn and to me. Indeed I take this position with confidence and commitment. And I am sure with the abled support of all of you, the APSWSL secretariat would go ahead in meeting many of the current challenges for the corporate benefit of the labor world in this region.
<br>
<br>I am really concerned that the APWSL would address the socio-political issues such as degrading situations of migrant workers, unresolved crises of undocumented labor and part-time workers. In a subtle way, we need to address the challenges like dying democratic values in Nepal, agriculture labour disasters in Philippine, poverty and unemployment in many small country, victims of globalization in developing countries, development induced displacement (DID), tsunami victims in west Asia, capitalistic attitudes of fostering war and international tensions such as irak and North Korea and so on.
<br>
<br>The APWSL Korea and I feel that it is very appropriate that the APWSL Secretariat would meet in Melbourne in October this year. Thank you very much for this decision and invitation. I am extremely happy also to note that you have made proposals for organizing a training programme for Parat Nanakorn and for myself in Australia. I really take this as a privilege to participate in this training programme. I wish to invite you for further training and exposure programmes.
<br>
<br>The way you have suggested for the training seems to be very scientific and much useful for the future of APWSL. I will be very grateful to you if you can send to me more details about this training.
<br>Tomorrow I am in Philippines for a migrant mission workshop and I will also join with KMU in preparing the schedules for the APWSL August International mission meeting.
<br>
<br>Once again I congratulate Ms. Gwynnyth Evans.
