 One year has passed since Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster.
Although the magnitude of the earthquake was also the world's largest class 
on March 11, 2011, the four-set simultaneous accident of the Fukushima 
nuclear power plant will be  minced on the world history.
Japanese government issued "a convergence declaration" noting that the 
nuclear power plant is in halt condition at low enough temperature, but 
probably, not only specialists in nuclear but also people do not trust it at 
all.
Moreover, they are getting irritated, because nobody takes or let anybody 
take the responsibility for an accident, they must be nervous to food safety 
according to apparent expansion of contamination, and revival of 
infrastructures don’t proceed smoothly.
The meeting of "fadeout from nuclear power reactor and reject the nuclear 
power plant re-operation", demonstration, symposium, etc. were held in the 
whole country on March 10 and the 11th. We will report the details on the 
next number.

4) Joint action by unions was held.
On 28th, joint action by unions in Aichi was held. This action is "one-day 
joint action" held once almost every month.
Flier distribution and microphone speech were performed at Kariya Station 
where many workers of Toyota related companies getting on and off early 
morning on that day. Particularly, they appealed about the dispute of Mr. 
Takahira, one of ATU partners. Although Mr. Takahira got workmen's-accident 
authorization from Denso Corporation, he is still requesting an apology and 
reparations now.
After that, the exploitation campaign which appeals for the union 
subscription towards truck workers which an Aichi joint union did, and 
street advertisement of "labor consultation  phone No. 110" was held from 
evening in front of Nagoya station.

3) Mr. Yoshida’s workmen’s accident trial at Aisin-kiko Co..Ltd.
On 21st, at the Nagoya District Court, the 3rd workmen's-accident 
authorization trial of Mr. Yoshida, an employee of Aisin-kiko Co. Ltd.　Although 
it is the stage of submitting a written statement and written opinion now, 
from next time, actual debate and the legal challenge of the claim for 
damages from the plaintiff side asking about responsibility of the company 
are scheduled
Maintenance of safety and health of workers is the responsibility of 
company, and an industrial accident must be of course cared by "Industrial 
injury insurance". But such a common sense is brought to the trial and being 
argued.

2) The 33rd Toyota total action was held.
The 33rd Toyota total action as a usual practice was held in the Toyota 
Shirahama park of the riverbed of Yahagi river, and about 1000 people 
including participants from outside of the prefecture gathered on 11th.
As the big headline "When will you use accumulated profit without using now! 
The mission of Toyota is to achieves the social responsibility." was written 
on fliers distributed there. And  the actual amount of the accumulated 
profit was introduced as 13,863 billion yen.
And in advance of  this meeting, street advertisement in main terminals and 
questionnaire activity for managers of small and medium-sized enterprises 
were done. Since that day was a holiday of the head office, demonstration 
parade every year to Toyota head office after the meeting was done just 
along the shopping quarter to Toyota Station this time.

1) The company side blocked the union activities of ATU.
On 8th, ATU did distribution activities of the union bulletin No. 18 in the 
early morning of this day, in front of the gate of the Toyota Motor Tsutsumi 
Factory.
However, a man of the company side plundered the bulletin from the employee 
who received that at the entrance of the gate. He was also collecting the 
bulletin in the head office before, saying "Please do not carry personal 
belongings into the company", and making it throw away into a makeshift 
garbage can. Clearly, this is interference to a labor union and is an unfair 
labor practice.
ATU immediately protested there and sent "the offer document which protest 
and ask for an apology" to President Akio Toyoda in written form as of 10th.
