（４) Steering committee of ATU・S regular meeting

The steering committee of ATU・S regular meeting was held on 23rd. The 
materialization of points to be checked of the general meeting was mainly 
discussed.

1.    One of the activities in recent 3 years is a joint propaganda in front 
of Nagoya Station. They will  materialize "Informal meeting" in which the 
union in the region participate, utilizing it as the mother body.

2. About the future contents of the Toyota course and the Toyota study 
meeting was examined. They heard opinions from people related to the union 
etc., and will make contents helpful to the movements, and comprehensible 
themes in the future.

3.The participants of Nishi-Mikawa Net are always busy.  So, they will make 
the year-round schedule , and make effort to continue activities without 
burden.

4."Table of the dispute related to Toyota" brought together this time will 
be updated at any time. They will utilize it for the mutual coverage by 
sending newest information to parties concerned.



(３) The 4th general meeting of ATU・S

The 4th general meeting of ATU・S was held on 12th. 50 people of the members 
and the companions of the union in the region participated.  In the general 
meeting, activity report, action policy were shown, and the directors were 
selected. The memorial lecture was entitled "139 days struggle until victory 
over the general contractor ", and was provided by Mr. Koh, the vice 
committee of the Kansai raw concrete branch of the Unity Union. It was 
highly appreciated.



(２) The 32nd total Toyota action

The 32nd total Toyota action was held, and about 1000 people participated 
from the whole country on  11th. They made advertisement in front of the 
main stations and in Toyota City in the morning. The receipt of flyer by 
workers related to Toyota has extended. A whole meeting was held in Yamate 
Park in Toyota City in the afternoon. Mr. Wakatsuki, Chairman of ATU took 
charge of the chairperson. It was the first time.

Because the snow from the morning didn’t stop, customary demonstration to 
Toyota Motor headquarters has been canceled. Moreover, the signature 
activity of the JTEKT Tanaka trial was done at the hall entrance.



(１) Exchange meeting of car companies

"The 7th exchange meeting of car companies" was held in Nagoya on 10th. This 
movement started on November 1995, from proposal by labor unions of 
Kanagawa, Hiroshima, and Aichi. And, after the 1st exchange meeting of auto 
sector workers and local organization, it continued 6 times afterwards. This 
time, there was a proposal “ The factories related to the car extends to 
the whole country and have big influence on the workers and the regional 
economy. We had better make our exchange wider, without limiting 
participants only to people concerned.”
