5）A lot of reporters gathered to ATU
　The recall problem in the United States shows new movement though it is 
still extending not cooling.
It is due to the new fact that "Warning" contents concerning the recall was 
included in the document "Request book on the recall problem" sent to Mr. 
Akira Watanabe , the president of Toyota Motor at that time on October 3, 
2006.
Namely, the Los Angeles Times reports, the managers of Toyota at that time 
should have seriously receive the warning from their employees. Mr. 
Wakatsuki, the Chairman of ATU is very busy due to that news, to see rushing 
mass media etc.

4) The 5th Toyota study meeting
The 5th of "Toyota study meeting" to study the real situations of the Toyota 
way was held in Nagoya city, and lecturer of Chukyo University Mr. Sugiyama 
reported about "Labor-Management consultation system of Toyota", and the 
question was exchanged among participants on February 27th.
It will be held as a lecture on "All Japan Federation of Automobile Workers' 
Unions Congress of Industrial Organizations exchange association" composed 
of the activist and the citizens with a minority union related to the car in 
Toyota City on March 27 next time.

3) The 5th collective bargaining (spring labor offensive demand) with Fine 
Sinter Co., Ltd.
The 5th collective bargaining of ATU and Fine Sinter Co., Ltd, Toyota 
related parts manufacturing company, was held, by the attendance of 7 people 
from the union, 5 people from the company on February 25th.
At the spring labor offensive demand, improving pay , demand for the lump 
sum (bonus), improving benefit package, and fair human treatment problem 
like union member K's matter, safety of the working place (environmental 
problems etc.) were raised as the points which should be improved.

2) The 31st Toyota total action meeting and demonstration
Customary "Total Toyota action" was held in Toyota City, and about 1000 
people participated, the press reported on February 11th.
This meeting was a place for request, the will declaration from worker's 
side to Toyota, during the recall problem since last year, in addition to 
production and sales depression after Lehman shock.
Especially, it is likely to become a vital question for the workers of the 
subcontract enterprises from which the unit price cut down of 30% is being 
requested by Toyota, and they are under severe situation. They appealed 
their voice to the citizens through the demonstration parade to the Toyota 
headquarters, and sent them to Mr. Akio Toyoda, the president.


 1) The 3rd ATU・S general meeting at the labor hall
The 3rd general meeting of ATU・S was held, and our members and ATU, and 30 
people such as local unions, the dispute groups, and activists in the region 
participated on February 6th.
Following to the memorial lecture by the Professor Masaki Saruta of Chukyo 
University,  activity report of recent one year,  the line of action of 2010 
including "Recall problem of Toyota" was discussed, and all bills were 
approved after the vigorous questioning.
