5）The general meeting of TMPCWA Supporters Association in Aichi was held.
The 7th general meeting of TMPCWA Supporters Association in Aichi was held 
in Toyota City on May 23.
It was decided to work in September "Toyota headquarters action" to request 
the urgent solution of the dispute. And, Minoru Tanaka of the Supporters 
Association in Kanto Area talked about "International Labour Standards" in 
the general meeting commemoration lecture. It was a very useful story.

４）The 26th Toyota Symposium was held.
The 26th Toyota Symposium was held in Toyota City on May 16.
"What should be the enterprise and the regional society that treat human 
importantly" was one of the themes this time. The talk of the keynote 
address was Mr. Takeshi Tanie, a professor of Meijo University (Management 
Analysis Theory). Mr. Tanie talked about Toyota’s business attitude 
"Profit-first principle, omitting workers and subcontract companies" while 
touching the recent recall problem.
The union member of ATU also participated, and Mr. Tanaka of JTKUT spoke as 
one of the panelists.

３）The pamphlet of the Course about Toyota recall problem was made.
The contents of the course about the theme of Toyota recall problem was 
issued by pamphlets on May 15.
The remarks records of Mr. Akio Toyoda, the president of Toyota, and Mr. 
Tsuruta the chairman of TMWU,
the statement of ATU, and material related to the recall problem etc. are 
included with the contents of the lecture. The issuer is ATU・S, 30 pages in 
A4 size.

２）General meeting to inaugurate Living and Health Network for workers in 
Nishi-Mikawa area
General meeting to inaugurate Living and Health Network for workers in 
Nishi-Mikawa area was held  in the Anjo district labors office on May 9. In 
Aichi prefecture, many Toyota related companies are crowded under the top of 
Toyota Motor, and particularly in the Nishi-Mikawa area. the pyramidal 
structure has extended widely. In such situation, there were opinion “The 
movement body opposite to Toyota in the Nishi-Mikawa region is necessary.”, 
and finally they made the formation.

１) ATU participated at Anjo district May Day.
ATU participated at Anjo district May Day on May 1, carrying the union flag 
as every year.
The signature activity to support the trial by Mr. Tanaka of JTEKT was done 
at the hall entrance.
In the meeting, "Extraordinary resolution to request the close and transfer 
of Futenma Marine Corps Air Site outside Okinawa prefecture or to the 
foreign country" was read out, and was adopted. After the meeting, the 
demonstration parade was done in Anjo City.
