earth, blue, clear sea and sky, and moreover, people's smile and children's

3)The 3rd Toyota study meeting
The 3rd Toyota study meeting was held on December 19. The theme was "Toyota
labor union (TMWU). "
The lecturer Mr. Sakurai had been advising the regional trade union movement
to Toyota, while serving as a teacher at the high school, and a labor
consultant. He reported the critical analysis about stance of the Rengou・Toyota
Motor Labor Union, which is not cooperative to labors but to the company,
according to his experience.
2)"Defend employment and life" workers pep rally
On December 18, in Nishiyanagi Park near Nagoya Station, 'Defend employment
and life' worker pep rally was held. This rally was initiated by Tokai labor
defense lawyers, and hosted by the executive committee, which a lot of labor
groups and civil groups participated, and formed. The member of ATU・S also
stood ahead of 250 workers participants with the union member of ATU that
gathered from Mikawa area.
And, raised the voice "Defend employment and life" for the skyscraper and
the Midland Square where whole Sales Departments of Toyota Motor "Nagoya
office" is located inside.
1)Union Mie and JTEKT headquarters action
There was an action to request continuous employment of the period workers
and withdrawal of "Employment termination" = dismissal for JTEKT, one of a
Toyota Motor group company on December 8.
Mr. Murakami, a member of Union Mie, who was in the endless strike of 10
minutes at start of work from November 27, and 4 union members who were
already unduly dismissed rushed into 24 hours strike this day.
The people who were dismissed did the protest action before the square of
Midland in front of Nagoya Station, where JTEKT's headquarter is located,
with a lot of supporters, and did the proposal action for withdrawal of the
dismissal to the headquarters and the parent company Toyota Motor.
