Dear friends,



The National Executive Committee of the Kilusang Mayo Uno extends its
warmest greetings to you.



We wish to inform you that the KMU is holding its 23rd International
Solidarity Affairs (ISA) on April 30 - May 10, 2007.  The ISA is an annual
affair hosted by KMU that aims to gather trade unions, unionists, activists
and solidarity groups to discuss, exchange and come up with actions on
various issues and struggles affecting the workers globally.  This year's
ISA would revolve on the theme *"Defend and Advance the Rights of the
Working Class.  Fortify Trade Union Resistance in the midst of the
Intensifying Crisis of Imperialist Globalization."*

The 23rd ISA Conference aims to see the level and state of trade union
resistance in protecting and advancing the workers' rights; to assess the
struggles being done by the global trade union movement to counter the
increasing human rights violations and political repression carried out by
imperialist globalization against the workers; and then come up with
coordinated campaigns and actions on how to further strengthen the global
trade union movement and fortify trade union resistance amid the increasing
sophistication of imperialist attacks on the workers and the peoples of the
world.



We would really appreciate if your organization can send delegate/s to this
important conference.  At present there are already delegates from Asia,
Oceania and Europe.  We would also welcome a message of solidarity from you.
Your message will be included in the conference kit and will be posted in
our website.
