Dear friends,

On July 13, the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions has
sent a protest letter to Philippine President Gloria Arroyo
expressing concern on the political killings and repression of
unionists in the Philippines.

Previously, the United Nations Human Rights Committee (UNCHR) has
also written the President. Also this month, the Asian Human Rights
Commission (AHRC) circulated a petition to end the killings in the
Philippines.

The petition may be signed by visiting

Please add your voice in the growing call to stop the killings in the
Philippines and give justice and indemnification to the victims and
their families.

Thank you!

In solidarity,
KMU International Department
