[APWSLMembers 114] Contact with Hong Kong National Group

Apo Leong from Hong Kong visited Tokyo last weekend.
Four APWSL Japan members including me met him on Nov. 28 to talk about the APWSL
situation in HK.

HK situation
The Worker Activist Network, which is the the APWSL national group in HK, is
meeting regulary, once a month.
The present representative is Mr. Lawrence Ann. There was not enough hand over
from Franklen, who was the national coordinator at the time of Bangkok Council
Meeting. And because the new representative doesn't speak English, the
communication with APWSL network was disrupted.

I explained the present situation of APWSL and asked the HK national group to
come back to the international network.
Apo agreed to become a temporary contact person.
I have already put his address on the APWSL mailing list.

So I am happy to report that I have fulfilled my task to find out the situation
in HK and reestablish the contact with HK national group.

Parat, so please contact Apo and make sure that the HK group can attend the
APWSL meeting in HK.
