Workers of Yusei Rodosya Union I mentioned about in the following report
are the same workers you met in 1999.
Zenrokyo Postal Workers Union -- they changed their name to Yusei
Rodosha Union last year (they still belong to Zenrokyo). They learned a
lot from mutual exchange between postal workers' unions in New Zealand
and Japan.
I think they will ask for advice about experiences of privatization in
New Zealand again.
We have to collect many negative cases of privatization in New Zealand,
because our struggle against privatization is still going on.
PM Koizumi is reportedly planning a revised bill which may be more
convincing or clever. If he wins the majority in the snap election
scheduled on Sept 11, he will inevitably submit the new bill
